Bath Time

1. Queens of The Stone Age - The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret (3:39) BATH #1 2. Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm (2:53) TIME #1

"Welcome to Tea-Time on Ellensburg Community Radio. First you heard Queens of the Stone Age with The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret, then you heard a Sheffield band who would be the first admit they were a little influenced by Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys and Brianstorm. Now for a band called She Said that I know nothing about apart from when I bought the single it came in a black leather pouch."

3. She Said - Black Leather (4:53) BATH #2 4. Vince Taylor - Jet Black Machine (2:25) TIME #2

"There was Vince Taylor with Jet Black Machine. An influence on David Bowie's creation of Ziggy Stardust. If you want to find out more, check out eburgteatime, all one word, on twitter where you will find a link to my website. There is a little write up on Vince. Speaking of websites remember to check out www.eburgradio.org and all the great shows and maybe get involved. All that technology speak, now for the best link you can have, Link Wray."

5. Link Wray & The Ray Men - Walking With Link (2:28) BATH #3 6. Marlena Shaw - California Soul (2:58) TIME #3

"Marlena Shaw getting a bit of California Soul there. Exciting news. Tea Time is moving to Saturdays at 6pm from next week which is Saturday the 21st.*CARD* Film director Quentin Tarantino always said if he had a song like Isaac Haye's Shaft to open a picture, he'd open a picture."

7. Isaac Hayes - Theme From Shaft (4:39) BATH #4 8. Bobby Womack - Across 110th Street (3:51) TIME #4

"Tarantino didn't have Shaft but he did have Bobby Womack's Across 110th Street, which he used for his third film Jackie Brown. Carrying on the soundtrack theme we have accidentally found ourselves on, how about the Monkees's Porpoise Song from their film Head, a movie that I love despite it pretty much ending their career."

9. The Monkees - Porpoise Head (Theme From Head) (4:09) BATH #5 10. Spiritualized - Out Of Sight (6:10) TIME #5

"One of my favourites Jason Spaceman with his band Spiritualised and the great song Out of Sight. Now for Dutch band Shocking Blue and Send Me A Postcard. For younger listeners a postcard is an older version of an Instagram."

11. Shocking Blue - Send Me A Postcard (2:35) BATH #6 12. PJ Harvey - Down By The Water (3:15) TIME #6

"Polly Jean Harvey with Down by the Water from her third album To Bring You My Love way back in 1995. Next a trippy cover of the Temptations Smiling Faces Sometime by East of Underground from an album only released by the US Army back in 1971 before getting rediscovered and re-released about a decade ago."

13. East of Underground - Smiling Faces Sometimes (6:23) BATH #7 14. Byron Lee And The Dragonaires - Jamaican Rock (2:05) TIME #7

15. The Action - Shadows and Reflections (2:53) BATH #8 16. Kaiser Chiefs - Oh My God (3:36) TIME #8

"Oh My God I've never been this far away from home, so thank you Ellensburg for making me feel so welcome. That was Leeds, north of England band Kaiser Chiefs. A huge hit in the nineties in the UK was Common People by Pulp who were from Sheffield still north of England. The song turned up again in 2004 from a surprising source, William Shatner!"

17. William Shatner - Common People (4:41) BATH #9 18. The All Seeing I Featuring Tony Christie - Walk Like A Panther (4:28) TIME #9

"The All Seeing I with a song written by Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, featuring seventies "Amirillo" star Tony Christie. Watch out Pepe Deluxe there's an Apple Thief about."

19. Pepe Deluxe - Apple Thief (5:17) BATH #10 20. Lemon Jelly - The Staunton Lick (5:23) TIME #10

"That song always makes me walk with a little spring in my step. It was The Staunton Link by Lemon Jelly. *CARD* Okay off to Germany with Can and Mushroom."

21. Can - Mushroom (4:04) BATH #11 22. Leftfield - Phat Planet (5:24) TIME #11

"Leftfield's Phat Planet used for a famous Guinness advert in the Uk, incorporating quotes from Moby Dick to instill patience before sipping. Let's take Pelham with the Deadly Avenger."

23. Deadly Avenger - We Took Pelham (3:03) BATH #12 24. Os Mutantes - A Minha Menina (4:45) TIME #13

"Sixties Brazilian band Os Mutantes with A Minha Menina. The first album I ever bought over t'internet. We had Shatner before so it is only fair we have his cohort Leonard Nimoy with his Ballad of Bilbo Baggins, and we are going to get there via The Twilight Zone with The Ventures."

26. Leonard Nimoy - The Ballad Of Bilbo Baggins (2:22) BATH #16 27. Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds - Let The Bells Ring (4:27) TIME #16

28. Odetta - The Times They Are A-Changin' (4:38) BATH #17 29. Arrested Development - Tennessee (4:33) TIME #17

"Early nineties outfit Arrested Development sampling Prince on the track Tennessee. We are at the end of another Tea-Time. We are going to end with The Phantom and Love Me.
