DEUCES WILD

1. DJ Yoda - British Library Jam (3:25) DEUCES #1 2. Public Service Broadcasting - London Can Take It (3:28) WILD #1

"Welcome to Tea Time on Ellensburg Community Radio. I am your radio bloke Paul Dunn and I will be playing you weird and wonderful music that I like for the next two hours. We started off with DJ Yoda and a track he put together in one day using archive sound files at the British Library in London as part of BBC 6 Music's celebrations of libraries from about 3 years ago. Then we had Public Service Broadcasting with London Can Take It also using archive samples. For whom the bell tolls, for AC/DC, that's who."

3. AC/DC - Hells Bells (5:12) DEUCES #2 4. Pearl Jam - Do The Evolution (3:53) WILD #2

"That was Pearl Jam doing the evolution. Now for a sixties group my missus, Sideshow Tia, came across this week called The Freeborne. They were from Boston and had one classic LP in 1967 called Peak Impressions. From that album here is the track Images."

5. The Freeborne - Images (3:37) DEUCES #3 6. Ramsey Lewis Trio - In Crowd (3:15) WILD #3

"The Ramsey Lewis Trio with the In Crowd. If at some point you find yourself on that there t'internet, check out eburgradio.org and discover other great shows on Ellensburg Community Radio, from music to factual, it's all here on Ellensburg Community Radio. Now to go Intergalactic with the Beastie Boys."

7. Beastie Boys - Intergalactic (3:30) DEUCES #4 8. The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band - I'm The Urban Spaceman (2:25) WILD #4 "The fantastic Bonzo Dog Dah Band with I'm The Urban Spaceman. That track was produced by Apollo C. Vermouth. You may know him by his other moniker, Sir James Paul McCartney or Macca. Aah the crazy sixties, but so were the seventies and here to prove it is Washington DC punk band Bad Brains ripping through the Fearless Vampire Killers."

9. Bad Brains - F.V.K. (Fearless Vampire Killers) (1:07) DEUCES #5 10. Death - Freakin' Out (2:49) WILD #5

"If you liked Freakin' Out to Death, check out a great documentary from 2012 called 'A Band Called Death'. Really interesting story to that band. Speaking of interesting, here is Peaches asking you to Bag It, whatever 'It' is."

11. Peaches - Bag It (3:03) DEUCES #6 12. Princess Superstar - Blue Beretta (2:43) WILD #6

"That was Blue Beretta by Princess Superstar, a song I first heard one late night on John Peel's radio show, which shows it pays to reference DJs in songs. Any songwriters out there, I'm still waiting for my reference. Now for a Beatles cover by Jake Shimabukuro, George Harrison's While My Guitar Gently Weeps."

13. Jake Shimabukuro - While My Guitar Gently Weeps (4:07) DEUCES #7 14. Fleetwood Mac - Oh Well, Pt. 1 (2:21) WILD #7

"From Fleetwood Mac's sixties days when they were led by Peter Green, that was Oh Well, Part One. Now to one of my favourite English duos, Goldfrapp and Lovely Head."

15. Goldfrapp - Lovely Head (3:50) DEUCES #8 16. Sandie Shaw - Girl Don't Come (2:14) WILD #8

"Sandie Shaw with the atmospheric Girl Don't Come. If you are sitting there thinking I could do that, it's just an English bloke playing random songs and witterring inbetween, you're right, you could be sitting here instead. Just go online to eburgradio.org and click on Get Involved and within a few more clicks you could submit an idea for a show. Any show idea considered from a music to a factual based show. To get an idea go to eburgradio.org and check what other shows we have. Remember this is a Community Radio station and we want you. Next we have The Gaslight Troubadours with The Marvellous Barrastro, sampling old time radio show Suspense."

17. The Gaslight Troubadours - The Marvellous Barastro (4:11) DEUCES #9 18. Portishead - Mysterons (5:07) WILD #9

"That was Portishead with Mysterons, who were Captain Scarlett's mortal enemy. A more recent UK TV show was The Mighty Boosh, so just for a bit of fun we are going to have a little clip, then we'll go into The Herbaliser."

19. The Mighty Boosh - Escape (1:37) DEUCES #10 20. The Herbaliser - Missing Suitcase (3:50) WILD #10

"The Herbaliser dealing with a Missing Suitcase. While we are in a spy mood, here is Billy Strange's version of the theme to Our Man Flint."

21. Billy Strange - Our Man Flint (2:06) DEUCES #11 22. John Barry & His Orchestra - A Man Alone (Theme From The Ipcress File) (2:30) WILD #11

"John Barry with the track A Man Alone which was the theme to Maurice Micklewhite's, or you might know him better as Sir Michael Caine's film The Ipcress File. One of my favourite films. So from A Man Alone to You Are Never Alone by Socalled. See the show isn't just thrown together despite appearances to the contrary."

23. Socalled - You Are Never Alone (4:31) DEUCES #12 24. The Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatrist (4:49) WILD #12

"Australian DJs The Avalanches with their cut 'n' paste song, Frontier Psychatrist. Now to the Savages with She Will."

25. Savages - She Will (3:27) DEUCES #13 26. Starcrawler - Chicken Woman (3:58) WILD #13

"That was brand new from Starcrawler with Chicken Woman. Speaking of chicken, one of the biggest stories in the UK this week was that KFC ran out of chicken and had to close shops. Oh the outrage that was expressed on the High Streets of Britain, which I found strange because if you have ever been on a British High Street, you'd know inbetween the ten or so pubs there is at least three other chicken shops. Sometimes I don't understand the world, but I'm happy to be here which is not always the feeling I get with Tom Waits."

27. Tom Waits - Hang On St. Christopher (2:46) DEUCES #14 28. Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band - Diddy Wah Diddy (2:30) WILD #14

"Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band with their heavy heavy version of Diddy Wah Diddy. Time for one of the best songs from the last couple of years, Underworld and I Exhale."

29. Underworld - I Exhale (8:11) DEUCES #15 30. Par T One vs INXS - I'm So Crazy (3:12) WILD #15

"There was Par T One sampling the heck out of INXS's Just keep Walking. We are at the end of another Tea Time. We are going to finish with a little selection, starting off with Shel Silverstein's poem A Light In The Attic, then to Ninja Tunes artist King Cannibal with Flower of Flesh and Blood and finishing with a track from another Michael Caine film, Get Carter, Roy Budd's instrumental version of Hallucinations. Remember before next week check out the other great shows on Ellensburg Community Radio by going to eburgradio.org. Go on, you'll like it, it's very nice. Now pour that last cuppa from the pot and settle in for the end of the show and hopefully I will see you next week for Tea Time. Cheerio."

31. Shel Silverstein - A Light In The Attic (0:25) DEUCES #16 32. King Cannibal - Flower Of Flesh And Blood (6:40) WILD #16 33. Roy Budd - Hallucinations (Instrumental Version) (4:25) DEUCES #17
