Drew Rogers was born and raised in the Yakima Valley. He is currently a senior at Heritage University where he majors in History and American Indian Studies. Drew plans to continue his education after graduation and has been accepted to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas’ graduate program in history. In graduate school, Drew plans to focus his academic pursuit on 19th & 20th Century American History, the Columbian Plateau, Environmental History, and Indigenous history. A subject that is of essential concern to all of us, whether or not we choose to recognize it as such, is: Indigenous Food Sovereignty in the Four Corners
